This is a quirky Spanish style cave house with a nice, spacious front patio with great views of the Badlands. The cave is located in a peaceful spot on the outskirts of Galera village, a 10-15 mins walk from the village centre. It’s almost at the end of a dead-end road so there is little passage.

This is a quirky Spanish style cave house with a nice, spacious front patio with great views of the Badlands. The cave is located in a peaceful spot on the outskirts of Galera village, a 10-15 mins walk from the village centre. It’s almost at the end of a dead-end road so there is little passage.

The patio is fully fenced and gated, ideal for dogs. The patio is tiled. Facing south-west, you have sun all day except early mornings. Parking is on the street.

The cave house has an entrance hall, large kitchen, pantry, small salon, 2-3 bedrooms, bathroom and utility room.

There is a central entrance hall and straight ahead are 2 single bedrooms built ensuite (currently with bunk beds). These can also be a single bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe.

To the right is a small TV-salon which you pass through to the double bedroom. From this little salon and up a few steps is the utility room leading to the bathroom with a tub.

Back to the entrance hall, to the left is a large eat-in kitchen with a fireplace and a pantry.

The inside of the house needs to be painted and you may wish to redecorate. Otherwise, it is ready to be lived in.

Galera is a small, beautiful and friendly Andalusian village with a few food shops, a baker, bars and restaurants, banks, doctor’s office, post office, a hotel, and a weekly market. There is a summer swimming pool in Galera and a year round natural spring water swimming pool within a 10 minute drive.  The village is a popular vacation spot for both Spanish and foreign holiday goers.

The town of Huéscar is a 15-minute drive with more amenities and a 24 hr health centre.  The city of Baza is 40 minutes away, with large supermarkets and a regional hospital. Surrounded by several natural parks, there are great options for hiking and mountain biking. There are pristine turquoise lakes within 20-45 minutes.
